Clients
Catering to clients with big and small projects requires flexibility, skill, and discretion. This is only a sampling of my client list. I have contributed to various pro bono projects in advocacy, education, and mental health.

2013-present
My work for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles has varied over the years. What began as simply making covers for program booklets has evolved into a myriad of opportunities that run the gamut of projects, from designing, branding, marketing, and merchandising to organizing and coordinating 100+-person events, coordinating teams of volunteers, managing tech support, and, of course, running presentations for lecturers, presenters, and audiences from all around the country.
I have also had the opportunity to take my work closer to home. At my home parish of St. Mark in Venice, CA, I helped organize and manage the branding, marketing, and creative content for multiple parish and school functions, most notably for our Young Adult Ministry. I’ve worked on modernizing the church logo, rebuilding the branding and marketing for our parish Pastoral Plan, and being a consultant on many design projects for our church and school, notably the reconstruction of our church website.
I’ve also had the opportunity to work on smaller projects with my school, St. Thomas the Apostle, in the Pico-Union neighborhood of L.A. and to educate my colleagues and students about the importance of art and design in education and outreach to families.
2020 Update:
As of late, during this pandemic, I have also had an incredibly strange opportunity to take my work into live streams and video conferencing—not something I foresaw, but a great learning experience in any case. I hope you are all staying safe!

2013-2018
As a member of the Our Lady of the Angels (OLA) Congress Committee, I help in the collaborative effort of planning the annual OLA Religious Education Congress in Inglewood, California. Every year, approximately 1,200 participants come to the OLA Congress to grow and learn about the Catholic faith so that they can better serve the students they educate in their school and parish communities.
My primary job in the committee is to create visuals to promote the congress, such as logos, registration, and program booklets. I am also charged with developing the visual material we utilize on the day of the congress during the opening ceremony and our afternoon mass, such as projected images, video clips, and presentations.

Family Business, ongoing work
Working since the age of eleven, I have had the opportunity to work in the family photography business, which has helped me learn and improve the quality and type of work we do. As the graphic designer for the studio, I am in charge of creating the content in our leather books, light retouching and color correcting photographs, designing and crafting our handmade invitations, and meeting with clients to make sure that they are satisfied with the work that we are producing for them.

2013-2017
As part of my job at the VAPAE, I created all visual outreach material for the program. Daily, I made flyers, postcards, and an e-mail blast and aided in maintaining our web presence. Notable projects included creating marketing products and merchandise, such as stickers and buttons, annual publications, and video and photo documentation of our various projects.

M a t i l i j a escuela bosque is a life project of my good friend Claudia. As both one of her maestres and her graphic designer, our goal was to capture not only the beauty of one of California's native plants, but also the importance of land conservation, honoring native traditions, and communicating the safe space Claudia cultivates for her students and staff.
"Matilija takes place on the unceded ancestral land of the Tongva People. Through an approach grounded in both land-based and play-based early childhood education, we aspire to enhance your children's comprehension of history, their connection to our planet and its inhabitants, and their early awareness of our past and the potential for positive futures. M a t i l i j a Wonderschool is a bilingual Spanish and Nature immersion play based program. We work with children, parents, and staff to create a high-quality early educational environment where the emotional well-being of each child is fostered, culture and language are embraced, and innovative approaches toward education are supported."

Inspired by Pope Francis' Papal Bull for the Jubilee of Mercy, the OLA Religious Education Congress' theme and proclamation to it's participants this year was to Stand for Mercy (Lucha por miscericordia).
As part of the morning praise for this year's congress, the liturgy committee asked me to create two videos to aid in our meditation about what it means to be people of mercy.
Our first video relays the message that we are all people of mercy in God's eyes and worthy of love and compassion regardless of race, culture, sex, etc. The second video asks that we consider all the bodily and spiritual acts of mercy that God calls us to share with one another and continue being open to giving and receiving the grace of mercy with the world and those around us.
