Lethe

[Lée-thee]
A river in Hades whose waters caused forgetfulness.

Those who made it across the River Styx did not have much more to anticipate. Once they had drunk from the waters of Lethe, they were left with nothing to reminisce about for eternity.

Lethe is a reflection of my fear and respect for the ocean. While many find it to be a place of wonder and excitement, I remain fixed with the feeling that it is a cold and vast void ready to take you to its depths at a moment's notice.
